Copper, the first metal that mankind encountered, has been familiar as an indispensable material to our lives in the thousands of years since. Various copper alloy products are used in every area of our lives and industry. Nowadays copper has accomplished a dramatic evolution to meet the needs of leading-edge IT fields and the automotive electronic parts and materials fields, and to contribute to the realization of a more prosperous society for people all over the world.
With the start of the new company, Mitsubishi Shindoh Co., Ltd., as the largest domestic manufacturer of copper alloy products, we have prepared a system with intensified overall capabilities by such things as reinforcing development capability through flexible and efficient arrangement of facilities in two bases, in Aizu Wakamatsu in eastern Japan and in Sakai in western Japan, and by concentration of development resources and enhancement of marketing functions. Using these as our bases, we will promote speedy and flexible sales activities for customers worldwide and strive to further improve our reliability.
